Meet the Bees + Manuka Honey Tasting

Tour Details

Part 1 – Meet the Bees (30–35 minutes)

Suit up in a full-length bee suit & gloves and join your beekeeper at the hive. You’ll help open a live, active beehive and hold frames covered in bees.

 We’ll happily take photos for you using your phone or camera.

Part 2 – Manuka Honey History & Tasting (15–20 minutes)

Head back inside, remove your suit, and enjoy a seated tasting session.

Learn the story of Manuka Honey in New Zealand and understand the UMF vs MGO rating systems.
















Taste a range of premium Manuka honeys: UMF 2+, 10+, 15+ & 20+.

We Provide : Bee Suits & Gloves

You Bring :  Sturdy closed toe shoes and socks. Cooler days > long pants and a long sleeved top recommended.  Hot days > shorts and t-shirt. You are welcome to bring your Mobile Phone or Camera.

This experience can be run at other times for Groups or Private Bookings
